As the individuals make more use of the developing technology, they face the threat of loosing their identity. It is at this point that I became anxious and worried .
A growing world brings up a comfortable and easy life together with all that is negative.Mostly materialistic opportunities remove individuals from their own identity, so they search for it in another concrete world and as a result individuals become alienated to themselves, unhappy, unsatisfied people.....
Instead of finding the causes of their unhappiness individuals prefer to hide behind some of their defence mechanisms. This is where my sculptors emerge. They question the existence of humanity. They gain form as momentary or social roles.
My abstractions represent someone among us.While my work is taking shape it describes neither the beginning nor the destination. Some of my statues are faceless. Some stand in impossible poses. Just for a moment maybe, to exist as the moment requires it. The in-between poses, have frozen in time to maintain the equilibrium.
The figures are pure, without details, pulled up, muscles elongated and thin.Almost as if enduning the effort of survival.
